Hi Paula -

Thanks for the note and the info. HSBC is definitely playing hard ball here. They can - as you know- report anything they like to the bureaus. You may consider debt validation.

My brother had Lexington file debt validation against some collection agencies and they agreed to delete the items entirely from the bureaus reports.

The Lexington direct line is: 1-866-246-7311. Let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you for your continuing information. Before I call the group wgat is the going rate to have some team like this to help me remove some nrgative items?

Also I am in the midst of dealing with a collection agency of HSBC< I have sort of worked out a payment plan with them, I haven't conceded to the yet because I am un happy with teir terms. You see I asked them if I set up this payment plan could they report to the credit agencies that the account would be moved from collection status to a pay status?

The person told me no that they could only report the account as paid in fuldd or settled. In order to pay the account in full it would take me approimately 41/2 years give or take a few months and settling is out at this moment because I don't have the funds. HSBC is a huge company and I know in my heart of hearts that they can change terms if they want to.

I can't see paying this bill and not getting compensated for my efforts. Is there anything I can do? If I don't start paying them then there is a possibility of things getting worse if they take me to court then my credit is truly screwed because I will have a judgemnt on my record. Thanks, I wait to hear from you soon
